What: A short course for small farmers who grow and sell vegetables primarily through farmers markets and CSA’s. The course is being offered by the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service in Lincoln County. The primary instructor will be County Extension Director, Kevin Starr.
When: All Saturdays in January, 2008 (5, 12, 19, 26) from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, is a make-up day in case of bad weather.
Where: The course will be held in the Extension Demonstration Kitchen at the James W. Warren Citizens Center in Lincolnton, N.C.Cost: The cost of the course is $50. Two persons from the same farm may pay one fee but will get only one set of materials.
