Food Preservation Series 2019

Join us for a series on the various methods of preserving food. We’ll be covering water-bath canning, pressure canning, fermentation, and dehydration. Each session will have a hands-on portion where you will get to practice preserving food safely.

Water-bath Canning: Strawberry Jam – 6/26/19 -10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Fermentation: Sauerkraut – 7/3/19 – 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Pressure Canning: Green Beans – 7/17/19 – 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Dehydration:  7/24/19 – 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Must pre-register! $5.00 per class or $20 for all 4 classes.

Held at the James Warren Citizens Center, 115 West Main St., Lincolnton.
