N.C. Cooperative Extension of Lincoln County is accepting applications for the George A. Stoudemire scholarship. The Stoudemire gives preference to students planning to study areas directly related to the work of the Cooperative Extension Service: agriculture, natural resources, family and consumer sciences, forestry, etc. This scholarship is only available to students studying at a North Carolina college or university. The amount of the scholarship is $2,500.
The scholarship form will be available online at the link below, at each of the area high schools in Lincoln County, and at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Lincoln County office, 115 West Main Street, Lincolnton.
