Believe it or not, the Lincoln County Apple Festival is right around the corner. That means the Apple Dish Contest is back! Compete based on your age group and dish category – savory vs. sweet. All dishes must contain apple as an ingredient. Cash prizes for first and second place winners will be provided by First Federal Savings Bank of Lincolnton. We would like to thank this sponsor for their continued support over the years.

Important Dates

Oct 9th is the last day to register and submit your recipe. Use this google form or scan the QR code on the flyer. Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m.

Oct 10th is drop off day! Bring your dishes, labeled with your name and unique recipe name to the Cooperative Extension office between 8 a.m.–12 p.m. Apple Dish Contest judges will rate all submitted dishes.

Oct 14th winners will be notified.

Oct 19th prizes will be announced and awarded at the Lincoln County Apple Festival at 12 p.m. Winners will meet at the Cooperative Extension Tent in Ag City around 11:50 AM.
