2025 Corn & Soybean Field Day

What Will You See?
Corn: We are planning to harvest our 80-day corn trial at the event. This trial is testing different plant populations on 20" row spacing. Farmers will get to see how NC State Extension conducts on-farm research with large equipment.
Soybeans: Dr. LeAnn Lux will speak in the field about soybean diseases, and you'll hear about the differences between determinate and indeterminate varieties from NC Soybean Producers Association's Research Coordinator, Jeff Chandler.
Tradeshow: We will again have tables hosted by ag supply companies including short presentations from each.
