Registration is open now for CFSA’s Climate Resilience Cohort, a FREE program helping disaster-impacted* farmers in the Carolinas plan for a strong, resilient future. 
 
The Climate Resilience Cohort will feature guided farm resiliency planning based on the “Five Steps to Your Regenerative Resilience Plan” Framework, interactive learning and farmer networking, and one-on-one technical assistance opportunities; all program elements are flexible to meet the individual farmer’s operational needs and priorities. To be held February through May of 2026 — register now as seats are limited!
 
Participants can expect to walk away with:

  • An Understanding of Your Climate Risks
  • Knowledge of Effective Climate Resilience Strategies
  • Best-Fit Practices Specific to Your Operation
  • A Whole-Farm Resilience Plan

  • Farmer-to-Farmer Networking and Peer Learning Opportunities
 

*Participants must be farmers based in counties declared a major disaster following Hurricane Helene:
  • Eligible NC Counties: Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Catawba, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, Forsyth, Gaston, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Jackson, Lee, Lincoln, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mecklenburg, Mitchell, Nash, Polk, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Surry, Swain, Transylvania, Union, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin, Yancey.
  • Eligible SC Counties: Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Catawba Indian Reservation, Cherokee, Chester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Greenville, Greenwood, Hampton, Jasper, Kershaw, Laurens, Lexington, McCormick, Newberry, Oconee, Orangeburg, Pickens, Richland, Saluda, Spartanburg, Union, York.
