WINTER WEATHER UPDATE Sunday February 1, 2026
Lincoln County NC Offices will be closed Monday, February 2nd and Tuesday, February 3rd. County offices will operate on a 3-hour delay for Wednesday, February 4th.
The Monday February 2nd Board of Commissioner Meeting has been moved to Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Planning Board Public Hearing items will be re-noticed and placed on the March 2, 2026, Board of Commissioners agenda.
Board of Elections Meeting Tuesday is canceled.
Lincoln County Emergency Services is asking to please stay off the roads. NCDOT plows need room to work and we can help by staying home. Highway patrol has answered dozens of traffic accident calls.
It also helps our 911 staff by not overwhelming them with calls.
