North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in cooperation with the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Lincoln County will be offering a Pesticide Collection Day for residents in Lincoln and surrounding counties. The local site manager will be Tom Dyson, Agricultural Extension Agent for Lincoln County. Collection will be October 13, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 225 West Water Street, Lincolnton (Farmers Market shelter).

Nearly all pesticide products will be accepted. For liquid pesticide containers larger than 5 gal or for unlabeled pesticides, please contact the Lincoln County office for information before bringing to the collection event. No gas cylinders are accepted at the event; however, assistance information can be provided. Contact the Lincoln County office for more information. Do not miss this opportunity in Lincoln County.
